SKEDJUAL ("SKEDJUAL," "we," "us," or "our") operates skedjual.com and the associated booking and client management platform (the "Service"), used by businesses of any kind that take bookings or appointments ("Businesses") to manage scheduling, client records, and WhatsApp communications with their own customers ("Customers").
This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the rights available to Businesses and Customers. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the Service.
1. Who This Policy Covers
SKEDJUAL is a B2B platform. Our direct customers are Businesses. Customers (the Business's own clients, whose bookings and details are entered into the platform) are generally not our direct customers — the Business controls that relationship. Where this Policy refers to "you," it means whichever group the section applies to.
Businesses are responsible for obtaining their Customers' consent to have personal data entered into SKEDJUAL and to receive WhatsApp communications through it. SKEDJUAL acts as a data processor for Customer data on behalf of the Business, who acts as the data controller.
2. Data We Collect
From Businesses (our direct customers): business name, contact details, account credentials, billing and payment information, and usage data.
From Customers (entered by Businesses into the platform): name and phone number, appointment/booking history, any notes a Business chooses to record about a booking, and WhatsApp message content related to booking confirmations and reminders.
We do not independently collect Customer data outside of what Businesses input.
3. How We Use Data
We use this data to operate the booking and client management features, send WhatsApp booking confirmations and reminders via the Meta WhatsApp Cloud API, provide support to Businesses, improve and secure the Service, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal data or use Customer data for advertising.
4. Third Parties and Subprocessors
We rely on subprocessors to operate the Service, including Supabase (database hosting and backend infrastructure), Meta's WhatsApp Cloud API (message delivery), and our payment processor (subscription billing). Each only receives the data necessary to perform its function.
5. Legal Basis and Consent
Where applicable law requires a legal basis (such as Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020, or GDPR for EU-connected users), Business data is processed under contract via our Terms of Service, and Customer data is processed on the basis of consent obtained by the Business, and/or the Business's legitimate interest in managing its own bookings. Businesses must confirm, at signup, that they have the right to enter Customer data and to message Customers via WhatsApp in accordance with Meta's WhatsApp Business Policy.
6. Data Retention
We retain data for as long as a Business maintains an active account, plus a limited period afterward for backup, legal, and dispute-resolution purposes. Businesses may request deletion of their account and associated Customer data at any time.
7. Security
We apply reasonable technical safeguards, including Row Level Security on our Supabase database (so one Business's data cannot be accessed by another), restricted internal access to production data, and encrypted data transmission. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify affected Businesses without undue delay of any breach affecting their data.
8. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, Businesses and Customers may request to access, correct, delete, or export their personal data. Customers should direct these requests to their Business in the first instance. Businesses may contact us directly through skedjual.com.
9. International Data Transfers
Our infrastructure providers may process data outside of Egypt. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure an adequate level of protection consistent with applicable law.
10. Children’s Data
The Service is not directed at individuals under 18. Businesses should not enter Customer data for minors without appropriate parental/guardian consent as required by law.

skedjual.com may use essential cookies to operate the website and, if applicable, analytics cookies to understand site usage.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to Businesses via email or an in-app notice.
